Featured Wedding~

Here's an example of how to take a simple concept and make it look phenomenal! A basic damask focal point with a punch of red to jazz up the room. Not only does is create a great appeal, but it's budget friendly!

Blossoms in bloom

Every time we meet with a bride we hear the same thing. "My colours are Purple and Green, so I want my overlay and chairs to be purple and my sashes to be green."

Here's an easy and original way of injecting colour into your decor. Use your secondary color in the florals ONLY.

For this bride her vision was of beautiful pink hues, champagnes and a splash of purple. We used all champagnes for her linens and kept the pinks to her florals, beautifully interlaced in her branch centerpieces. The faintest touch of purple appeared at the base of each vase.

The is past weekend, WDS created an urban princess' dream!
Soft pinks, rich Chocolates hues and glamour whites graced Westwood Plateau's beautiful west coast beams. An abundance of orchids were draped in every nook and cranny, while gorgeous orchid toppers created a focal point for each guest table. The head table was lined with sunken fresh pink hydrangea to soften the look.

This quaint 30 person wedding was held at Hart House Restaurant on a beautiful Thursday evening. Yes! A Thursday!
Her gorgeous canape and accent pieces completed the traditional set decor.

"We have spoken with a lot of brides about what they don't like about traditional fairs and they all say that they are so big...that they don't really "get much" out of them in the way of help or guidance...that they actually make them feel overwhelmed instead of informed... LOVESTRUCK has changed all that...the show will basically be a large cocktail party...we will be allowing a maximum of 1000 brides and guests...the vendors are chosen based on experience, compassion, skill...etc...and they are from all different price points...so there is something for everyone...

At the same time, we feel the "bridal show" is just one of those experiences you want to have when you plan a wedding...you just HAVE to go to at least one...so we made it really fun too...pampering, make-up chairs, nail salons...and in order to make the show fun AND helpful...we have added some optional workshops so that brides can pop into these rooms and can actually get some valuable information and insight on topics such as: choosing your photographer, wedding planning 101, whats hot in table top and Floral design.

We have created a show that is a memorable experience...a fun, helpful, useful day to help you to ensure you plan the very best wedding possible!
